Mark your calendars for our first-ever Yamhill County Fair Rodeo Fundraiser!

Saturday, October 26th, 2024 at 6 PM

hosted in the Historic Lucas Barn at the Yamhill County Fairgrounds

Join us for the Friends of the Fair Benefit Auction and Dinner, where funds raised will ensure the continuation of rodeo events at the Yamhill County Fair, entertaining over 40,000 annual visitors. Hosted by the rodeo committee, this special evening will support the renovation of our beloved Cascade Rodeo Arena. With the current equipment nearing the end of its lifespan, we urgently need replacements to guarantee the safety of cowboys, exhibitors, and the public.

Our goal is to raise $100,000 to fully renovate the arena and secure the future of our rodeo. The evening will include a delicious dinner, thrilling auction items, and an opportunity to make a lasting impact on the community. Your support will help preserve the heart of our fairgrounds and ensure a safe, unforgettable experience for all.

Event Information:

Dinner will feature Pork Loin and Sirloin Steak

Individual Guests:	$60 per person
Reserve a Table for 6:	$550 – a great way to enjoy the evening with friends or family!
Please note:	This is a 21+ event, unless minors are accompanied by an adult.

Meet the Rodeo Committee

The heart and soul behind the Yamhill County Fair Rodeo is our dedicated Rodeo Committee. This passionate group of individuals works tirelessly to preserve the rich rodeo traditions that have made our event a cornerstone of the community.

Our committee is made up of local volunteers with deep roots in both the rodeo and the Yamhill County community. Each member brings a unique perspective and skill set, from organizing events to handling logistics, all with the shared goal of keeping the spirit of rodeo alive.

For us, the rodeo is more than just an event—it’s a way of life. The friendships, the teamwork, and the excitement of competition are all part of the heritage we cherish. Our goal is to ensure that these traditions are passed down for many generations to come, while continuing to make the Yamhill County Rodeo one of the most anticipated events of the year.

Meet the Auctioneer

For over a decade Tucker Cool has been behind the microphone captivating audiences. Since 2012 he and his team have raised over twenty-million dollars for non-profits. In 2023 alone his team was able to raise over three million dollars for non-profits. Working with dozens of organizations every year across the nation, the Best Bid Auction, LLC team focuses on Non-Profit fundraising so that organizations can better serve their communities.

Tucker is also a PRCA Rodeo Announcer and has been the voice of the Yamhill County Fair and Rodeo for the past 4 years. He’s excited to come back and help the fair with their First annual Friends of the Fair auction and the commitment the Yamhill County Fair has to their community and fair goers.
